Air Quality Monitoring Device for King Abdullah University of Science & Technology

The King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) has obtained one unit of Aeroqual Series 500 (an air quality monitoring instrument) from Enviro & Industrial Solutions ME. This is considered as an innovation as the Series 500 will assist the university with their aim to create and develop discoveries to address global challenges. The scheme is for a more effective environment monitoring, especially with air quality monitoring.

This Action as support in Research Studies

KAUST is known to develop potential state-of-the-art environment. An example of a global challenge is pollution. Aeroqual S500 instrumentation will assist in shaping their knowledge in air quality monitoring in their country, Saudi Arabia. This will help in knowing the sources of the contaminants to know how to reduce or eradicate these kinds of problems. In addition, this will benefit the students and faculty in being more aware about what the contaminants in the air. And how this will impact the community.

The Aeroqual Series 500

The Aeroqual Series 500 (Pro) is a system designed for consultants and air quality professionals who want a full set of tools to measure a range of common pollutants in indoor and outdoor air. The monitor can also operate in control mode. Upper and lower control limits can be easily set directly on the display. By selecting the optional wall-mount bracket and plugging in mains power, the Series 500 is effectively able to act as a fixed monitor as well as a handheld portable device
